Environment Policy and Action Plan

An Environmental Policy is a clear statement of aims which outlines an organisation’s commitment to minimise its negative effect on the environment.

An Environmental Action Plan sets out specific actions to be undertaken in order to achieve the Environmental Policy aims. It can include identifying who will is responsible for each action, time schedules, as well as what inputs and resources are required to achieve the actions.
