Hayling Lifeboat Station | Hayling Island Lifeboat Station is situated on the South East corner of the Island, known locally as Sandy Point. The station has two inshore lifeboats, an Atlantic 85, B Class lifeboat “Derrick Battle” and a D Class lifeboat (IB1) “Jacob”. Langstone Cutters Rowing Club | The club welcomes rowers of all standards, from people who just like to get out on the water for fun to rowers who want to compete in local regattas and national events such as the Great River Race, where Langstone Cutters have a formidable record of success. Club rowing on Sundays is open to all, starting about two hours before high tide.
