The Regatta Committee issued the following statement on 20th June 2020:
“The Regatta Committee has with regret decided to cancel Chichester Harbour Race Week 2020 due to the restrictions imposed upon us all in managing the Covid-19 virus.
CHRW is a major and complex event with large gatherings of people. The committee has decided it is not possible to run the event safely while fulfilling its social responsibility to provide a duty of care to both competitors and volunteers by restricting the spread of the virus.
We invite everyone to come back next year when we plan to make CHRW 2021 a very special week.”
Further details regarding the 2021 dates will be made as soon as possible.
